This 4 piece punk-rap band from the South East of the UK put on an energetic live show with music to match. Blending sounds from bands such as Limp Bizkit, Forever the Sickest Kids and Zebrahead.
After reaching the final of the Gospel Rock Talent search in 2010 and releasing their first single 'Get Up', the band have been taking crowds by storm around the UK. This year (2011) they came to grace the Meltdown stage at Greenbelt and went down a storm. A band that are well worth checking out.

Although immediately labeling Myth of Ben as another one of your run of the mill Post-Hardcore Alt-Rock bands would be the easy thing to do for the average listener, a deeper listen would quickly reveal the contrary to the educated ear. This up and coming quartet formed in Clapham, blend a tasteful amount of blues, rock, and funk at its heart, with the palatable anthemic melodies and guitar driven energy of this era. From soulful confessions, to ear blistering screams, Myth of Ben boasts a dynamic range we don’t often see in this genre fulfilling industry. This dynamism and refusal to fit most conventions certainly comes from the fact that each member hails from a different part of the globe. Brought together by a shared vision, a no non-sense straight edge approach to rock, and a good laugh, these boys are definitely one to look out for to make waves this coming year. FACEBOOK PAGE. |

is a five-piece metal band based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Formed in 2001 by Ignatios (drums) after the dissolution of his previous band, Still Small Voice, ForChristSake lacked a stable line-up until relatively recently. The band started to take proper shape in 2008, and has begun to build momentum from that point. The current 'active' line-up consists of Ignatios on drums and vocals, Seraphim on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Simon on lead guitar and backing vocals, Mark on bass, and Guy handling lead vocal duties as well as keyboards. This incarnation of the band recorded their debut EP, entitled 'Death is but a Breath Away', featuring four tracks of hard-hitting, low-tuned metal with a positive lyrical content. http://www.myspace.com/forchristsake1 |

Firefalldown are a Filipino-British three-piece, who bring a melodic edge to their hardcore style. Having met playing in a worship band in a London church, Firefalldown set out to bring the death-metal history of their drummer together with the funkier influences of their bassist. Nuneaton-based hardcore band Conduit are making impressive progress on the scene. Their album debut on Germany's Whirlwind label 'Fear For Those Who Missed It' has got enthusiastic reviews and the band are busy developing their sound ready for their second album which will hopefully be released in the first half of 2012. Conduit are one of the most popular and experienced bands on the UK Christian scene. A band not to be missed. With Conduit comes something vicious and peaceful, calming and aggressive, fusing with speed, bursting with melodies. This is a scream-filled storm with melodic touches all charging as one voice, one song. This is 3 personalities crashed together as one working in harmony. This is more than just a band, taking the audience by the scruff of the collar; this is a chance to encounter your creator. http://www.myspace.com/thisisconduit |

The irrelevants are 4 idiots from the north of England making punk rock noises. They create a not-so-subtle blend of pop punk, guitar noise and shouting which comes out sounding a bit like NoFX, Descendants and early blink-182.
They may not be the best musicans, but with a dancing elephant and every song played at 1000 miles per hour, the irrelevants will set fire to your ears and leave you begging for more.
